20001 Disco Wierd Shifting

I have noticed some strange, harsh, shifting the past day or so. Like a hiccup. The M and S light flashed but then went out once I restarted the truck. Took it into the Local dealer and they said the problem was the battery was dead or near death. Seemed reasonalbe since it was the original. Replaced Battery. I still notice odd jecky shifting on the drive home. Went back to the dealer this AM and he said since everything resets after the battery change it might be off until the transmission relearns my driving style. Does this sound reasonable?

I always assume the work failing transmission, bad valves in the tranny. Luckly I'm usually wrong!

This is the first issue I have ever had with this Disco. It has been an awesome rig. Almost 70K Miles. Dealer maintained at all intervals. Much better than my 90 RR was.

Now after it stalling, again, and not starting, again, and the MIL light now on, they're saying its a faulting Crankshaft Sensor. We'll see.
