1971 Land Rover Santana 109 "Militar" 6 cylinder Diesel. I bought the vehicle in Spain from a man that collected Land Rovers. Spanish Built troop carrier. 24volt 6 cylinder diesel engine. Runs very good. 4 speed transmission. The vehicle runs and drives very good. Its in good condition. Under the factory paint the frame appears to be galvanized. The land rover historian author James Taylor mentions this vehicle in some of his books. They say that the Spanish engineers took the 2.25 liter diesel and added 2 more cylinders on the engine. I looked for one of these trucks for quite a while. Most of them are impossible to import due to the fact it was an added expense for a civilian to obtain a title for a military vehicle in Spain. Every time I found one I like it did not have any documentation with it. I finally found one with a title in good shape. I planned on keeping this to drive around the beach where I live but decided to sell it and keep another truck instead. I'm open to offers. I will assist any buyer with any questions (best to text or call) before and after the sale. Should you need any specialty items for this vehicle in the future they are available and I'll be happy to go over that with you. I also have a pdf instruction manual for all the buttons on the dash etc. Dual Diesel Fuel Tanks with manual switch *(blue knob under passenger). Top is in very good condition.
