    Default steering box drop arm

Any tricks to remove the steering box drop arm?
Removed the nut OK but the drop arm is being stubborn.
    Thanks

Heat with acetylene torch, remove with pitman arm or tie-rod end puller. Those simple little pullers are about $10 at Autozone, Napa, or a similar store. I had to put mine on at a slight angle, but there was plenty of meat for it to grab.

You can probably heat it enough with propane if you don't have acetylene, but more heat is better.

Careful with the heat. It could ruin the seal. Wait..those leak from the factory anyway.
I just use a puller, put lots of tension on it and rap it with a hammer. Usually pops right off.
