    Default disc parking brake

    Has anyone installed a X-eng disc parking brake ? and if so what do you think about it? thanks

    No,

    But I find that if my drum e-brake doesn't have oil in it, it works quite nicely.
    61 II 109" Pickup (Restomod, 350 small block, TR4050)
    66 IIA 88" Station Wagon (sold)
    66 IIA 109" Pickup (Restomod, 5MGE, R380)
    67 IIA 109" NADA Wagon (sold)
    88, 2.5TD 110 RHD non-hicap pickup

    Along those lines....

    Yeah, I think that a disc-brake would do better than a drum, but as JP said, for a parking brake, do you really need a disc brake? Seems like a lot of cost towards something that's not really broken....

    A rock doesnt work very well when the truck is already rolling down hill....
