starter will engage but will not turn. I replaced the starter with a brand new starter and the problem still exists. any one have any ideas?? relay, neutral switch, alarm sensor in door??

Check your Ground Connections
Sounds like a similar problem I have had in the past. Check your ground connections. I also have had a battery that had a bad cell or two that caused similar problems.

turns out the new starter I bought from Napa auto parts was bad as well.
