    Default S3 Heater Fuse

Ok, I've had this 73 S3 for about 2 weeks now and I got just about all the electronics sorted out. The only thing left is the heater fan. According to the diagrams there's an inline fuse somewhere for the power going to the fan switch. Anyone know where that fuse is?

Look for the fuse spliced inline on a like jumper wire running between the heater blower switch and the ignition switch..... It's a brown/ red wire and the fuse is closer to, aprox 4" form where the connection is made at ignition switch...
By chance might be able to drop the lower 1/4 dash and steering shaft cover and disconnect it form the ignition and fish it out form there.....

Thanks, thats exactly where is was. The PO had removed the fuse so I replaced it. Then I flipped the fan switch...I quickly figured out why the fuse was missing. The blower and the wires leading to it were getting super-hot but no fan noise. Guess I need a new heater fan
