Default 1972 88" Series III RHD 2.25 Petrol Tropical and Canvas Top

    1972 Series III Station Wagon
    2.25 Petrol Engine

    Location: Virginia Beach, VA

    Price: $6000

Original Paint and odometer shows 91150. I have not idea if this has rolled over, but it is works as of now.

I have owned and enjoyed this truck for the last 3 years, but have not driven it enough. I am in the military and can't justify moving it with me at my own cost every 2-3 years for the next decade. So it is for sale!

    Features:
    - parabolics springs
    - Old Man Emu shocks
    - overdrive
    - weber carb installed 3 years ago
    - Exhaust is 3 years old
    - canvas soft top w/ rear fold down tailgate
    - tropical hard top w/ full swing out door
    - new window channels on hard top
    - new lamp kit all around
    - full length galvanized roof rack
    - new weatherstripping on hard top alpine windows
    - new brake master cylinder 3 years ago
    - great power, strong compression, brakes well
    - Canister Oil Filter conversion
    - Brakes system just serviced
    - heater

This truck drives well, I have driven it from Las Vegas to South Carolina to Virginia and it has done well.

I'll post more of the interior and canvas top in the morning.

I'm available most days to show, just require some notice.

    Default Series now in GA

Bump, the Series is now in Peachtree City, GA. Made the drive from VA in 2 days with no issues. Rear axle and diff replaced last week. Price still $6000.

Unless you just put multiple thousands into a new rear differential and rear axle. Any useful questions?

Here's a useful question for you: Is it "Price now $6500" or "Price still $6000"? The way you have it makes no sense.

    Default fellow rover owner.

The wife let me build a barn for my rover, as a fellow service person and rover owner, you may store your rover at my barn for as long as needed. I would hate to see anyone sell a rover unless they really didn't want it any more. Your need seems just to find it a home for a while. pm me if you are interested. It will have a warm dry home out of the elements , right next to mine.
Whence came you my brother ? From the East....
