This Land Rover has been the hobby project/toy of its current owner since 1997. It was first owned by the founding family of Pittsburg Glass Co. and used for duck hunting. “Ike” (ie President Eisenhower) was a frequent visitor for duck hunting excursions with this family.

This vehicle has been extensively restored mechanically while maintaining its original appearance and character. An extensive library of manuals and restoration guides goes with it. The engine is a specially built Chevrolet straight 6 cyl (250 cc/ 150hp). 16 inch wheels. Power steering and brakes added. Fairley overdrive. Completely replaced and updated exhaust system, radiator, brakes, clutch, axels seals, gearbox, electrical wiring, choke, body mounts, fuel tank and filter, shocks and more. Frame has been professional rebuilt and strengthened. Also includes parts kits and misc. accessories.

5. replaced break pads, rear seals, Tie ends

7. replaced choke and carborator linkage
8. replaced oil pan gasket
9. replaced master break calendar, break pads, 3&4th synchro
10. replaced manifold assembly gaskets
11. replaced alternator, belts and hoses
12. replaced muffler
13. January 2000 – rebuilt and strengthened frame, replaced springs, bidy mounts, shocks, axel straps, and fuel tank
14. july 2004 – replaced clutch, rebuilt manifold, new cooling fan

Overall I have receipts detailing the repairs and replacements that total $15,897. All of this work is detailed in a book of receipts.

Current issues
• rust on doors and windows – some windows cannot slide due to rust in the groves
• The right forward rear view mirror broke. I have a new replacement one ready to install.
-one gauge intermittent

Included are a bunch of spare parts, a complete set of shop manuals, a restoration guide book plus some Land Rover memorabilia.
