    Default 1965 series IIa

hey all. my name is dave and i am new to this forum. i am not however new to rovers. his is my third series and i had an 89 range. anyway i am selling my 1965 IIa 88" left hand drive gas. i dont want to but i need money bad plus i have my eyes on a series III for a little ways down the road.

    the good:
new gas tank and filler hose
    new brake lines
    new wheel cylinders
    new exhaust
    clamshell top
    rear bench seats
    original elephant hide seats
gun rack in side back window(haha i know. just thought i would mention it)
    4x4 works
runs good all lights work(when you put on ight blinker both tail lights go)
    new push start button
outriggers and crossmembers good not punky at all
whole front part of frame in good condition
    has "cruise control"
    kodiak heater
i know i am forgetting some things but you get the idea

    the bad:
    needs rear half frame
lower part of door posts on inside bad
    few holes in drivers floor
    needs paint

i am in nh. i want 2000 for it. i cant really take less than that i am already losing money. but i know how the game goes, ever 100 bucks you put in a rover you only get about 75 bucks back. if it doesnt sell i might part it out, which i dont want to do because it has a lot of potential and there already arent enough series on the road anymore. but i might have to use the new part for my new project whenever that will happen. thanks for looking

lure them in...I read you. Actually I am pretty sure that rovers do not rust...they just shed solid gold and diamonds

Rovers can not rust, they are made of actual diamonds. This must be an impostor

I also must add that it pains me to get rid of the old girl but with how awesome our economy is I slammed with work and have no time for her. Wait a second no what I meant to say is that I am totally broke and could use the money.

Hi Dave, welcome aboard. I saw this rover advertised in Craigslist, I'm sorry to see that it didn't sell.

Ya it might sell. If it doesn't I will be happy. I don't want it to go.
