    Default Navigation Software

Anybody tried and liked a PC based navigation software package? I am looking for something that will give turn by turn directions, some planning capability and access to topo maps. Ideally it would also be able to display shapefiles. I figue somebody here must have done some trip planning.
    Thanks

    Default Falcon view

I have used falcon view in most every continent on earth. I enjoy using it for planning and gives you everything from jog maps to sat imagery. It does not do any talking though.

I've been using Delorme Street Atlas for about 10 years and like it. I've also used their Topo USA, but my current version is pretty old.
