I have a 2005 RR Sport. My second key has been stored for back-up in case I were to lose my main key. However, I went to try using it the other day and it will not turn the ignition on. It turns in the ignition barrel, but the car does not start.
I then left it in the ignition for an hour thinking it would recharge in case the internal battery had discharged, but still no luck.
I spoke to the dealer and they simply said I would need to buy a new one, but that does not sound right.
Any thoughts?
