    Default LT 230 gear ratios

I've heard about a 1:1 high range gear ratio in the LT 230 transfer case. Apparently fairly rare and might not have ever been imported to NA. Anyone know if an existing tc can be re-geared from the standard 1.21:1.00 to a 1:1?

Yes it can. Ashcroft sells the gear sets.

Once in a while you'll see them here, they were used with the Chrysler TF727 in the early RRC's automatic RRC's.

Yep, I checked Ashcroft and they sell a gear set (+/- $375) that will take it to 1.003/1
