Haha! That's kind of funny. I wonder if the person just incorrectly installed a right hand side door bottom with a left hand side door top....

Hey, when you have a cheap right hand door, but need to put it on the left side of the truck, anything goes! he must have had a lot of free time, because the latch mechanism was switched, the hinge plates were switched, possibly the door limitor was adapted, there was a lot more than just a bolt and go process here.

I guess the supply of left-hand doors is drying up?

Must have a long left hand to open the door, as well. Or a quick exit artist.

We all know that numerous series parts are inter-changeable...That's just bizarre...who in their right mind would spend all that effort with the hinges? I'm attributing this to alcahol.

Hmmmm.... Does it have a matched set of suicide doors? Can't see the otherside. Necessity IS the mother of invention, so is lack of money and lots of free time.

Found this on the Vermont Craigslist. Another 109 I don't need, but a full hard top / or pickup cap would be nice in the winter time. Have yet to hear from the poster if they are willing to sell either item separately.

He did this because he only had good RH doors...3K seems high...but look at what it comes with...truck cab ($500), tailgate($150 or so), Full hardtop ($500?)...and knowing who the seller is there are probably more other parts as well. So a 109 2 door for 2K....not that bad a deal. I saw the truck perhaps 18 months ago...its not that bad. Yes paint sucks but its very much one that can be fixed and used. If I was not up to my elbows in building a 109 PU I would buy it. John
