    Unhappy A BAD DAY

    My '90 classic is dead.
    the block has a new hole, looks like a con rod let go.
    thinking it could be a parts rover... or a project...
    bought new, green, 140k, never hit. / frame has normal east coast rust.
    lots of new parts / int. ok
    located n.va.
    anyone/anyone?

    Might be better to put the Old Girl in the "For Sale" section of the site, better chance for a hit.

    I really hate to see the cannibals get her...
    she ran like a tank for 22 years...
    maybe i should change her over to diesel or chevy or electric...
    the only thing bad is the motor.

    Maybe something in a TDI would put her right. I understand (but don't know for sure...) that a kit is available to change it over. Always bad to see a Rover bite the dust and the canibals get it. Or maybe a 3.9L change over?

    Not a bad day, the king is dead, long live the king, I swap mi Range Rover at the south of my country, swap by A Cota 315R, Beta minitrial, 1977 Suzuki A80, and all my vintage stereo gear (Pioneer RT 1050 open reel, lot of turntables, decks, Paradigm Speakers, Omega watch, swap everything found on my house.
