    Default code errors

ok, time to diagnose these, or their meaning, 97 Disco SI...i have a number of errors listed on the OBD scanner from Auto Zone.
    P1313--camshaft sensor plausibility??
    P1314--Fuel tank low level
    P0460--Fuel level sending unit
    P0420--Cat efficiency, low bank??

the Fuel error codes are probably for an AEL pump that is going. But do the others mean O2 sensors AND CAT replacement? and what of the Camshaft sensor?

I am trying to get my Safety Inspection, but will not with the SES light on, if i buy an OBDII scanner, can i clear these to get my inspection.
    Please help with advise.

I have had 1314 / 1314 for awhile. I thought those were damage to the cats. In NC we have an "attempted to fix rule". If you have over $200 in repairs after you fail your inspection, conduct repairs, then fail a second time then they will waive the requirement. I use this time to replace O2 sensors, ect... that needed to be fixed anyway. A code reader can clear the codes but the safety inspector will tell you that you need to complete th edrive cycle before you can be inspected.

thanks for responding Ncrover, were the CAT codes fixed when you added new O2 sensors, and did you add all 4 at once? I'm wondering if the correct Disco way to go is to replace O2 sensor 1, 2, 3, and then number 4 to find out the SES errors are the O2 or the CATs? Anybody got experience here?

The O2 sensors cleared codes 1187 and 1188. The O2 sensor replacement did not effect 1313 and 1314. I just use the sensor purchase as a cheap ($200) way of getting the waiver. My D1 runs fine with 1313 and 1314 present. I currently do not have the money to replace both my cats so I will just live with the codes. There are some good threads on the Discoweb site regarding codes.
