    Center consol disassembly

I recently purchased a 2008 L322 RR HSE with the Luxury Package. The CD manual I have does not cover the later model L322. There are configuration differences.

I need to replace the rear part of the center consol - the part that has the spring loaded cover to therear seat entertainment plugs/controls. It appears that this panel is screwed in place at the bottom (I can get to these screws) and along the sides of the panel. These hold points are covered by a corner piece and I can not find how to remove the plastic ends of the consol (below the cubby box and at the rear corners of the consol) that would provide access to the screws that secure the rear plate and cover for the plugs. Are these ends screwed in place or are they secured with clips? I don't want to force things (and break something) if they are screwed in place....if there are clips where do I apply leverage / pressure to release these plastic ends. If there are screws how do I access these screws? The parts diagram that I have doesn't help much. Thanks for any advice.

    Thanks,
    Jim
