Every tire shop in the country sells 235-85-16s. Not sure why you'd be having any difficulty finding them.

Oh, wait...I was confused. I thought YOU said they couldn't find 235-85-16s. They'll probably NOT be able to find 750x16s but kwells is rignt, 235 85-16 is the closest COMMON tire size to it. There might be an even closer UNCOMMON size, but why bother...

If you want to stick to 750x16 bias ply tires, there are these out there: https://www.universaltire.com/truck-...r-traxion.html

and in a 700x16 there are these: http://www.nebraskatire.com/hot_deal..._hot_deals.htm

There are a few good places on line. I used TireEasy.com
My tire size is 225 75 R16 for my Series II A 88. I didn't go bigger, because I well I dont really need to, and I keep my Series in the garage (and have to get throught the door). I also would like to keep me Speed and Odometer readings the same.

    Tristan,
I think 7.5 x 16 would be the correct size. I have 5 - 7.5x16 Bridgestone U Tractions on rims that I would sell. Very few miles on them. I could get them taken off rims. PM me if interested.
