    Default FUEL LINE OPTIONS

HI WORLD , I AM RESTORING MY 73 SERIES 3 AND TRYING TO DO ALOT OF IT MY SELF , I HAVE REBUILT THE CARB , I DROPPED THE GAS TANK AND GOT 99% OF THE RUST OUT BY PUTING A CHAIN IN IT AND SWERLING IT AROUND FOR HOURS MY QUESTION IS THE FUEL LINES FROM THE TANK TO THE MANUEL PUMP , CAN I USE THE SAME LINES THAT I USED ON THE CARB TO THE PUMP WITH HOSE CLAMPS OR SHOULD I TRY FIND THE ORIGINAL SIZE AND GO BACK WITH STOCK , ANY THOUGHTS ON ADDING ANOTHER IN LINE FILTER BETWEEN THE TANK AND PUMP , THANKS GARETH

One fuel filter before the carb should be enough. @ filters with the same paper filtering medium won't really do much for you in improved filtration. I used the same fuel tubing from the tank to the fuel pump as I did for the pump to the carb. This works fine, but I would recommend you look for a tubing that is resistant to degregation by ethanol.
Bad gas mileage gets you to some of the greatest places on earth.
