    Default 73 WIPER ISSUE

    HI GUYS TURNED THE WIPERS ON AND THEY DID A HALF TURN THEN QUIT, THE WASHER MOTOR STILL WORKS ,WHERE SHOULD I START

    Check for power at the switch then check for power at the motor. My 70 IIA has a harness going into the motor in a upright position so over the years moisture corroded the connections. I would pull the plug at the motor and clean up both the male and female connectors. If you've never taken apart your wiper mechanism now would be a good time. It's whats attached to the motor and actually moves the wipers. I have a tech article on how to take it apart and what to grease. It's call "getting your wipers to work correctly" I've attached pics but I don't see how to attach a doc. PM me with your email and I can send it to you.
