chassis number clarity

this may be closing the door after the horse left but...
does anyone have an idea of why the chassis number on the data plate on the RHS of the engine cowl of a FC101 is different than the number stamped onto the RHS front spring hanger?

Give us more details of the vehicle. What year do you think it is? What body type? How different are the numbers? I.e are the last three numbers just different or is the format entirely different? What is the history of the vehicle from its cast from the MOD? If you want to PM them I might give you some ideas.
