Default 1982 Series 3 88” County RHD with 200 Tdi

Price drop - baby on the way.

Bought this Rover from a Brit that owned it for 10 years prior to moving to the states and bringing it along. Stunning Series with the modernizing efforts as one of the last Series before the defender. Very well cared for with a 200 Tdi conversion. The previous owner acquired the vehicle after the conversion and was not certain of the exact miles on the motor. Current odometer reading is 118K. The motor is great and lives up to the reputation. The previous owner made two statements that got my attention to go look at the vehicle: that you may not find another series that hasn’t undergone a frame off restoration in this good of condition and wouldn’t hesitate to drive the this rover anywhere. Its a very nice example. Can cruise 55+ all day. Located near Cherry Hill, NJ. Avoid the cost and hassle of importing! Titled and registered in NJ. Title in hand.

    Other info:
Full roof rack and rear ladder
    ORA locking hubs
    Safari roof
    Parabolic springs
    A non-whining overdrive
    Defender cloth seats
    Swing away tire carrier
    Tow hitch and wiring
    Sun visor

    The bad:
Exhaust system rusted away, needs to be replaced
    Fog lights don’t work
Rear defogger wiring needs to be replaced, heating element in window appears fine.

    Very reluctant to sell.

    Asking $9,500.

    Thanks,

I just spent my morning before work trying to convince my wife this would make a good family car. Mind if we come for a visit and check it out?
