Urban Land Cruisers/Land Rovers can help you with that. A 200tdi out of a Defender would be a bolt in swap with zero fabrication required.

Have you had any experience with them? I'm considering them for some work. I did a quick Google and looks like people have had some not so good experiences.

I don't have personal experience with their engines or drivetrain components. I have bought a couple of other items from them with good results (YRM battery tray, set of military door tops). I believe that they do offer a guarantee on their engines.

They are doing a 200TDI conversion for me right now.

I am not far enough along to give you an opinion that is worth much, but I have been pretty happy so far. Communication has been a little tough, but otherwise no problems.

I've put 9,000 miles on the 200TDI I purchased from Dave at ULC. He's backed me up the whole way with parts that were defective and supplied everything I needed. Granted the engine had probably 150k on it when I got it, but it was not costly. No complaints here. Would recommend talking to them and getting all their input. Lots of experience there.
