This is a very nice 2002 Land Rover Freelander SE with extremely low miles. It's a 1-owner vehicle with a clean Carfax and was traded in on a new car at our local BMW/Porsche/Land Rover dealership. The Freelander offers a great mix of on-road/off-road capability and has the best on road handling in it's class. The Freelander is solid, comfortable, and competent. This SE model comes with upgrades such as leather seating and power sunroof.
The exterior of the car is in very good condition. There are a few small stone chips in the front from normal driving. I didn't notice any significant scratches or dings on the vehicle. The paint is rich and unfaded and the trim is in excellent condition. The roof rack and rear mounted spare tire give this SUV a serious off road look. The alloy wheels are in excellent condition and the tires have plenty of tread.
Inside, the car looks almost new. The seats have very little wear, the carpets are free of stains and the headliner looks great. One thing I love about this car is that it has tons of places to store things. The cup holders fold out of the dash and there are two glove boxes with multiple compartments in each. In the back there are two storage nets mounted to the ceiling and behind the rear seats there is ample room for luggage or groceries.
All of the electronics function as they're supposed to. The cd player works, all of the power windows (including the rear back window) go up and down as they're supposed to and the A/C blows very cold. The car has no funky odors and no quirks. This Freelander drives great. The steering is tight and accurate, it shifts smoothly, and accelerates surprisingly well.
