Default International Land Rover Day, August 2, 2015

This, from the Land Rover Series One Club:

International Land Rover Day-2nd August 2015.
So here's the plan..... In December of this year production of the Defender comes to an end after 67 years of Series 1's, 2's, 3's, Ninety's, One Tens and Defenders. Today's Landrovers wouldn't exist without this lineage and it's time to celebrate these unsung hero's. On the 2nd August we should aim to get as many Land Rovers on the road all over the world as a mark of respect to the Defender and its forebears. Like one of these flash mobs where people begin to dance together in a public place lets get Land Rovers all over the world to stand up and be counted. Fly the flag ( any flag or banner will do), convoy, meet, BBQ or do what ever you want but let's celebrate all around the world on that day the 67 years of Land Rover. If we all share this post on all the groups and forums we are part of around the world this should go viral. Let's make news round the globe celebrating the vehicle that led to every Land Rover on the road today, as long as you're driving a Green Oval, get out there on the 2nd and be seen. The chosen date has no significance, it's just a Sunday 3 months or so from now. Let's do this...............
