Is there an appropriate section for used parts? I found the section for vehicles (by definition, they would be used ), but noticed the comments were that no parts were to be posted. Anyone know if there is a section on this forum, or elsewhere?

Other vehicle forums of which I am a member have a very healthy and active secondary market in used parts, which is particularly invaluable for older vehicles...

A forum operated by a company that sells Rover parts would, understandably, be reluctant to have its members turn into competitors by allowing them to sell Rover parts on the company website.

They DO have a classified section for new parts though--just click here.

Nor is it at all true that a used classified will materially impact the hosts profitability. It actually builds a stronger community. A good example is Pelican Parts which ( obviously) has new parts, but also has a pretty healthy classified section for used parts. Members are pretty good about only posting used and it doesn't seem it cuts into the hosts business at all.

They have a used parts section, but the best way to find what you're looking for is to post up a request to see if anyone has it. Chances are really, really good that group will have the part you need. They amaze me all the time.
