    Sun Roof alignment/closing

The right hand side of my P38's sun roof has gone on strike!

It opens (slides to rear) fully but on closing it does not pop into the CLOSED position like the left hand side does and will not go into the FLIP UP Vent position (although the left side does).

Any suggestions as to how to fix it will be gratefully received as it leaks when it rains!!

    Thank you

    Paul

Sounds like it needs lubricated/cleaned, it may be rusted inside the levers. Use some PB Blaster to clean up with a tooth brush or similar, and then once it's free lube with a silicone base oil. If you've already done this, check that the levers aren't bent slightly. Also, lube the seal with the silicone spray, and while there poke out the drain holes.

Thanks - it was actually a broken plastic guide. Got it fixed now.

Good deal... Terrible all the plastic crap on cars anymore, those drains are another plastic sore spot.
