Default 2012 L322 how to clear dash 'Brake Warning'

my early 2012 HSE needed front brake pads. Rotors were fine, I replaced the pads, no problem. How do I clear the dash warning without paying the dealer $139, for 'computerized diagnostic report' -- "needed before clearance".
    thanks in advance

Try removing the ground (earth) cable from the battery, wait a couple minutes and reconnect. This should clear any 'soft' codes. If you're going to work on a Land Rover yourself, get a good code scanner, it will pay for itself in a couple uses.
