    Default Paint Codes: Help!

So I've hit a bit of a wall on paint codes. I bought a Marine Blue truck that was a repaint of a Fuerza Area Chile truck. I've had it taken down to bare metal, straightened, and now it is paint time. The proper paint code from http://www.landrover.net/paint/ have landed me with this color in Glasurit. It doesn't seem right...even calculating for sun fade. What am I missing here?

The painter is awesome, and he went ahead and sprayed a good portion of the outside so I could make a decision. I can't say that I dislike the color, but it doesn't seem like Marine Blue to me. I'm also calculating for Limestone top and wheels, and I don't know how this will pair with that.Click image for larger version.

So while I'm not looking for a Concours restoration, I was hoping to get close to Marine Blue. I kind of dig what we have in a Ford tractor sort of way...but I worry if I'm even remotely close to what Marine Blue looked like from the factory. Any ideas from the pros here?

Here is what it started as.

Where the truck started is Marine Blue. Where it is today is not. Not even close other than it is some sort of blue.

Somehow you don't have the right code.

I have a Sherwin Williams paint chip/code booklet for imported cars from 1967 to 1971. For some reason they don't list Land Rover, and the other British makes like MG, Triumph, etc., don't have a "Marine Blue". I used that booklet and Sherwin Williams paints to paint my Jaguar Mk II sedan "Old English White" many moons ago, and picked Triumph "British Racing Green" to paint my Landy some 25 years ago thinking the Landy would go faster with a racing color.

Not sure if this link may help if you can cross reference it. https://www.lrworkshop.com/land-rover-paint-codes
