Default 110 Dash Electrical - Lights are out

I'm working on my '84 110. All indicator lights and gauges work however no illumination of the gauge cluster.

[Note this is an '84 110 with a '91 Disco diesel motor swap].

Assumed bad bulbs so pulled wheel, disconnected speedco cable, pulled cluster and replaced all bulbs. (Using LED replacements so checked for polarity). Still no illumination.

Have not yet checked the fuses (next up in the AM) which I should have. My bad on that but can't believe I would have such luck as just blown fuse(s).

Also, while behind the gauge cluster, found the missing hazard light switch (non-functional but connected) buried in the nest of wires, as well as myriad unattached cables (including at least one with a stripped bare copper end, no connector attached).

Not having much luck with the wiring diagrams but still searching through the various forums and the manuals.

Understand some Defenders have a switch that kills interior lights?

Welcome any suggestions and thanks in advance,
    Andrew

Pictures from 1984 Drivers Handbook for LR 90/110
. It does show a combined interior and instrument panel light switch but instrument lights appear unfused. Item 16 on the dash panel view Click image for larger version.

Thanks just seeing this now, appreciate the info, following the wiring diagrams appears all the wires are there but we're missing the switch.

    Thanks!
