I replaced my original Series 2 motor with a 2.5L Petrol from a Defender. I have the old motor torn down so I could troubleshoot what was going on and to help to young car guys see a tear down. The block has a rebuild tag from 1970 where the pistons we 20 over. The rod bearings were shot and I didn't measure the journals. The head was a 7:1. It has the stock manifold and a Weber carb.
