    Default What have I gotten myself into here?

    For some reason I just bought this 1972 Land Rover. I don't really know a lot about these things but I have always loved the way they look. It has not been on the road in almost 30 years! It should be a fun adventure.

    Interesting rig and project, early S3. Is that Right hand rear wheel broken? Rim seems to be detached in the picture. I am sure there will be plenty of advice available if you have issues .

    Yes, the right rear wheel is rusted through and twisted apart. I am no stranger to old cars, I have a VW/Audi shop here in upstate NY. I am looking forward to getting into this project.

    nice looking series 3, too bad about that rust, better have a look at the frame !
