    Take a look at this video for Zenith carb rebuild and discussion for some common issues. Two items that he highlights is air leak issues and damage due to the mixture or idle adjust screw being screwed down too much.

    FLOAT HEIGHT!!! It was the float height. The new carb from Atlantic British was sitting at 29-30mm, instead of 33mm like it should. I had a few moments to start it up this morning, and things are remarkably improved. No missfire, and almost zero smoke coming from exhaust. I’m also running a much more advanced timing setup at 15 degrees. I haven’t gone for a test drive yet, so more to come.
