I have installed a 2.5L petrol engine from an 1986 Defender in my Series 3. After working thru several minor issues there is one that I am needing help with. The weber DMTL carb has an air intake that presumably connected to a oil bath filter on the left side (looking forward) of the engine bay. Photo attached. This will not work for my S3. I have looked for an air filter that will work with the bolt/stud arrangement ( see photo) but have not been able to find one. This bolt pattern is unique to LR. Other weber DMTL carbs have a rectangular and symmetrical pattern. Anyone have a suggestion or solution to this problem? Thanks.
