    Question vacuum advance unit

    The vacuum advance unit on my 91 RR is not working. I'd like to try and install a new one myself. I was wondering...do I just swap it out for a new unit? Or is this a more complicated project for my mechanic (i.e. calibrating the engine computer afterwards, etc.).

    If I can do this myself, anything I should be aware of? Appreciate any help!

    distribuitor needs to come out and be dis-asembled in order to replace vac. ad. unit. BETTER LEFT TO AN EXPERIENCED MECHANIC
