    Default 92 classic Tach question

My Tach has stopped working. the only thing I have done recently is change the Auto Zone alternator for about the 6th time in 4 years. Could I have not connected something up right? I assume that the Tach gets its signal from the alternator. Thanks for the help.

yup, your rpms are measured by the alternator so there is a plug behind the alt.
