Thread: Squealing

    Default Squealing

I have a 1992 Range Rover Classic with a 2001 Bosch engine and on cold days it will squeal for a while and the tach stays at zero. If you hold the gas the squeal stops and the tach starts to work. Any ideas on what this could be would be great.

does it sound like a belt?

you can turn on the engine with the hood open and get out to see if you can narrow down the squeal
