When Im driving my classic above 2000RPM I hear a high pitched noise coming from the engine. It gets worse the higher I acclerate. Does anyone have any idea what this could be, much appreciated.

does it sound like a hiss or squeale. The squeel might be from bad or loose belts and the hiss might be from a vacume leak some where.

It sounds like a high pitch, but almost like a studdering pitch but its very quick. When I rev the car in Park or Netural it doesnt make the noise. Tourque Converter going out?????
