    Question info on MICHELIN XZL 7.50 x 16

    MICHELIN XZL 7.50 x 16
    before i spend 1833 dollars on five tires can anyone
    please tell me more about or are thay running this tire?
    more or less on road noise then bfg m/t?
    due i need a two inch lift to run this tire or
    can i go with stock lift.
    any info would be good, thanks

    I've got them on my Series (and I sure didn't pay THAT for them).

    More noise than the BFG MTkm. Not as comfortable on-road.
    They are a TOUGH tire, many ply, designed for abuse.

    If you want a mud tire, go for swampers. If you want street tires w/ light off-road use, go with BFG ATko's, or Dunlop Radial Rover R/T's. For 'normal' dual offroad-onroad use, go w/ the MTkm's.

    If you're planning expeditions through inhospitable places, go with the XZL's.

    IMHO, FWIW....

    (They are a handsome tire on a Rover, tho'....)
