Default Disco 200tdi into LHD 110

Has anyone tried doing this with an exhaust manifold and turbo from a 300tdi? Any other solutions to the turbo / steering conflict?

I've seen it done and I'm planning to try it myself. I'll take some photos when I get around to it.

The fan shroud, the fans, the exhaust, the steering box, the turbo inlets, the intercooler, etc, etc, etc are all going to be problems. Search the web and you will find a step by step install Disco 200tdi into a RHD Defender.

Last summer I went down this path (and in a RHD) 110 and ultimately realized that it was not going to work.

Land Rover actually supplied a factory kit to fit the disco 200tdi into the RHD defender. I have driven RHD defenders with disco 200tdi.

Sorry.... no part number. I understand they discontinued the kit when the engine went out of production 1993-4ish.

    Default disco into defender

I understand it can be done. There is a downpipe vonversion you need. I have just bought one online. $140.00 I was in the UK last week and lots of disco 200 tdi's are being sold for placement into defenders.

If you have a RHD it's no worries.
