Windshield Replacement

Looking for any insight to having my 2002 Disco front windshield replaced. Went out this morning and I have a crack the entire length of the window side to side. I don't know what happended when I parked it yesterday the crack was not there. Looks like cost is about $800.00 for replacement but wanted to know if there is anything I should be aware of before having it replaced.

Sorry to hear about your windscreen.....
There are two types offered by Land Rover
Heated and Unheated... (if you look closely at the glass,
you can see the little wires in the heated windscreen)
You'll need a couple tubes of Urathane, some "A" pillar
trim clips, and the upper finisher.
There are a lot of glass companies that will do that job....
ie. Safelite, Windshield Dr, Pilkington...
Unfortunatly, we do not have either glass in stock here at RN
so, you'll have to do a local source (Dealer or Glass co.)
