    Default misfire at cylinder 5..

Recently my check engine light came on. So i plugged in the obd code reader. it said p0305 misfire at cylinder 5. So i changed spark plug wire #5. The problem is still there. So i took out the plug and regapped it and put back the wire. The light is still on and the engine vibration is the same. Im thinking about changing the coil pack. Any opinions?

I recently had the same problem and I ended up changing all of the wires, and then replaced the coil pack and it turned out to be some burned up wires going to the coil pack. So I wish you the best of luck, but I would try the wires first if it hasn't been replaced recently.

    Default I appreciate your advice...

Thanks for the advice, but I've changed everything and it still spits out the same code. However, i recently put techron into my fuel tank and the service engine light comes and goes. Now everything is running smoothly. I'm assuming it's a dirty injector.
