I'm not a Rover expert as I've only recently obtained this one, but I'm guessing it's >98% factory original, right down to the spare tires. It does have an aftermarket replacement coil, an aftermarket gauge set (oil pressure, water temp, amps) installed on the steering column, a small compass is mounted on the dash, and a fire extinguisher is mounted on the roof. Other than that, this Rover is all original and in exceptionally good condition. Just how rare is this? The way Harry always talked, this is pretty much the norm for Series Rovers, but I'm not getting that impression in the posts.

    Default Nice

that is a pretty early truck. It has alot of lights on it (roof and fenders) that are not original. Also, someone has cut off half of the original air filter intake system attatched a hose to the opposite end and converted it from the original style air filter to the 2.25 litre version. It looks like they had to relocate the voltage regulator to do that.

There seems to also be an added fuse block on the drivers side. Did you inherit a muffler looking thingy with the truck? That would have been the original air filter housing. Looks like a nice truck though. Very clean original paint! I wish someone would leave me a truck that nice. Of course, its always better when they are still around to enjoy it with you.
Here are the details from the lrfaq for your truck:

    Hey guys!

Thompson (aka TSR53) has been gracious enough to create a NADA Registry logo for us 1967 NADA 109 guys. What do you think?

It looks like he is willing to make one for each vehicle # if you are interested. I have added mine as part of my signature.

    Enjoy!

Yes, yes, yes... settle your jets . I'll be able to start numbering them tomorrow and starting with #002. I've got to make a few adjustments first.

Default Question on NADA # 021

Does anyone know what the piece below the fuel filler is? Some kind of over fill baffle to keep spills from running down the side?
