Default Eastern CT Land Rover show (BRITISH BY THE SEA)

Sunday June 1st 2008, is "The largest one day car show in New England". whether or not that is true is debatable. However, the event runs 10a.m. to 4p.m. and is a popular event rain or shine. The show itself is at Harkness Memorial State Park, Waterford CT right in front of the mansion! Usually 20-30 land rovers are usually in attendence along with over 100 other vintage british cars. This event is a show and shine with something for everyone to do. more information and registration can be found at www.ctmgclub.com.

and last but not least my album from last years event which was also my 88's first weekend on the road since 1979: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?ai...5&l=fb3609124a.

Remember if it sunny goods times will be had by all, and if it is raining good times will be had by all, except the rover guys, which we will have a great time as we are usually the last ones to leave.
Anybody have any questions not answered on the CT mg club site feel free to ask!

I will not make it this year as my wife is due with our first child the week before. She will be sad to miss the event even more than I am it seems. Would like to meet some more of the CT Rover guys now that I know some of your vehicles now through the forum. Mine is the Grey 1974 RHD (I saw a picture of it in your postings, Thanks) Some other friends will still be going though, it is a great day out. Hope you all have fun and post pictures.

Is there a cut off year? I'd detail my ride and show up.

no cut off year, last year we enjoyed the presense of a Lotus Exige (parked next to 2 Elises of course) and a Morgan Aero 8. There are two judging classes for rovers: ROVER to 67 and ROVER 67+.
