Has anyone installed one of the Tuffy security consoles sold by RN in a Series Rover? The specs say 24 inches long and it appears it would either interfere with the gear shift or it would protrude into the back seat.

It wasn't from our host but...
I installed a standard Tuffy box with the locking console plus the covered slot for a radio. I put in the 12.5 inch wide box which has plenty of room for all the useful little things that keep a Rover running. It doesn't interfere with the gear lever on a '71 SIIa 88.
Incidently I also installed Bestop jeep seats which are very comfortable and match the Tuffy box quite well.

I just installed a Tuffy centre console as well. Fits great, lots of storage space and a great place for the stereo.
