Here are the pictures from the snorkel. Let me know if you'd like more pictures. The point where it connects to the carburetor seems a bit "rigged" as it doesn't fit very tightly. I might try to figure something else out.
My air cleaner to webber carb was a bit loose also. It was attached with a rubber plumbing adapter for 1" to 1 1/2" piping. The adapter was very dry and hard, and would not flex to conform to the carb throat anymore. I went down to the local hardware store, and picked up a new one. $2.00, and about 5 minutes worth of work, and it is sealed nicely. I don't know if this is how others have sealed their's, but it was how mine was set up.
Bad gas mileage gets you to some of the greatest places on earth.
is the a modified air cleaner or ones of the original inlet/outlet ones?
I’m jealous

There is a metal ring at the top of the Weber 34ICH that tends to become loose over time. Remove it, clean everything thoroughly, then epoxy it back in place with JB Weld or PC-7 epoxy. JB Weld works a little better in this application because it is a thinner consistency.
where can one find the "non-vented" oil bath cover?
Here is part of my Series on the way back from Saquish Mass
Best,
Mark

I would love the one pictured as well..
I did some research last night and there is a company that makes oil bath filters similar with an inlet and outlet..
Monday I will look into sizes and air flow specs..
I am more determined than ever right now to find a factory look alike, oil bath or paper filter canister that I can use for a raised air intake..
