Default Looking for Rover Owners in NY Capitol Area

I have noticed a lot of posts, but everyone seems to be 3 hours away, anybody closer, who would want to caravan or do some local off roading. I am new to the forum and LR.

No, I am not originally from here (Navy transplant). I have seen a green vintage rover running around though, maybe the one and the same?

He has a Blue D90 300 Tdi and a V8 series coil conversion as well as a Mog crawler. I am down in Guilderland, soon to be up in Ballston Lake. There is good wheeling very near to you, from mild to nutz. How long have you been here?

Not sure of the name, my buddy is part of Adirondack Jeeps, he said there is a mud pit and a "seasonal road" up that way. Looks like rain all weekend!
