Thread: Calibration of '97 D90 speedometer

Question Calibration of '97 D90 speedometer

I'm looking for the speedometer's factory pulse rate setting for a 1997 D90. I've purchased a '97 D90 with a speedometer that is reading too fast and too many miles on the odometer. I have a VDO dealer speedo shop that has the software and equipment to reprogram it, but the original pulse rate settings are unknown. It would be a number higher than 8000 at 133Hz. Thanks in advance if anyone knows.

Whoa, a Land Rover Speedo that's off, that's gotta be a first.
After 7 years, I finally figured out how to get mine to read right. I went to 255x85 tires
