High idle after engine swap
After a slipped sleeve on my 98 Disco I replaced the engine with and engine from a 96 Disco. Ever since then the idle has been at about 2k lurching forward against the brakes and feeling generally uncomfortable to drive. I took the TPS out of the old engine hoping that would be the problem, but no such luck. I have heard that the gasket on TPS may be in need of replacement so that will be my next attempt at fixing this thing. Does anyone else have any ideas as to what might be the problem? I'm really hoping it's not the CPU. Thanks for your help...
