    Default Radio code

    Hey guys and gals,

My 97 LR Disco's starter and fuel pump went out at the same time recently. Its fixed and running great now. However, the radio doesnt work. Apparently this is because the battery lost power when the aforementioned occured. I was told that I need to punch in my 5 digit radio code. But when I turn the radio on it reads "code" and then I punch in my 5 digit code. But nothing happens..any thoughts?

Stop by the dealership and get them to look up your radio's code to verify what it is....

    Thanks Leslie,

It turned out that I has to wait about an hour with the radio on while driving before entering the code again and then it worked. mv

Default Another problem with radio code

I just picked up a 1997 and the code needs to be entered - the dealership gave me a 4 digit code with a 9 in it, but there is no 9 on the radio. Anybody know how to handle this?
