Default New head gasket on TD5-now won't start

Recently installed new head gasket on my TD5 Defender (1999) but we are having problems starting. We have fuel at the injectors (and have done repeated purges of fuel lines)but no signal or ground from the ECU is coming to fire the injectors. We suspect the security system might be prohibiting this but the vehicle locks and unlocks correctly and the alarm light on the speedo goes on and off as it should. The injectors are in the correct cylinders and the wire loom looks good (and worked fine previously). We just can't seem to get the ECU to talk to the injectors. We are really stumped!!! Any help or ideas would be much appreciated.

    Doug,

    Have you resolved this yet?
Have you access to a Testbook or ROW diagnostic tool, they should be able to put a pulse on the injectors.

Yes, we bought the Nanocom unit and found that the injectors had been installed out-of-sequence. It was easy to re-program them and it started right up. Nanocom is a must have for TD5 owners!!!
